The name Abate Photo + Film comes from Giuliana's last name. Giuliana's father passed away from cancer in 2017 - he was a hobbyist photographer during the days of film, and often took photos of his friend's weddings and celebrations for fun. One of the film cameras Giuliana uses today is her father's old Nikon FE2 that was restored.

Giuliana is the owner + lead photographer at Abate Photo + Film. Giuliana is self-taught and has been photographing weddings full time for over 8 years. Born + raised in the Raleigh area, Giuliana loves to explore new locations and travel for photography.

Lane is a lead wedding photographer at Abate Photo + Film. Lane is also self-taught, and has been photographing weddings full time for 5 years now. Originally from New Jersey, Lane moved to Raleigh to compete for N.C. State University gymnastics.
